Peugeot 406 bulb replace?

Has anyone any idea on how to remove both the digital clock form the dash and the seperate radio display on the dash for bulb replacement.. i have tried and they are both in extremely firmly.. i dont want to crack the plastic surrounds, anyone know how to remove them easily? I have contacted local Peugeot dealer and they want alot of money to replace the bulb.. well actuall its nearly 50 times what each bulb costs hahaha..

The digital clock will prise out from the right hand side, using a broad thin screwdriver. The connector unplugs from the rear of the clock. The dealers have a tool to get the radio out but you can make similar from some thin rod.

thanks John i managed to do them both.. i thought I was doing right but needed reassurance before i started pulling and prodding at things.. thanks again much appreciated.
