2002 c5HDI handbrake

Hi

I have just changed one of the front callipers and the disks and pads, (caliper was sticking) I then bleeded the front brake.

the brake is still sticking. although the handbrake now barely gets to 1 click and is applied. can this make the brakes stick and can I just adjust it off?

The handbrake cable adjuster is at the lever, access is under the center console.
