the function of the safety valve is to give the brake circuit priority over the suspension circuit,
the hydraulic pressure feeds straight through the safety valve with no restriction at all, and the pressure has to build up enough to open the valve before feeding the suspension,
it also has the main pressure switch that puts the STOP light out on reaching working pressure
