My son's C5 VTR 05 flattened its battery over the weekend. The weight of snow that accumulated on it apparently made the car keep moving to balance itself, and as he never used the car all weekend, there was not enough in the battery to start the engine. He has noticed that the car moves of its own accord, settling down , even when the key is out of ignition and car locked up. Is this right?
Thanks

Re: C5 Flat battery
No, the suspension system should shut down with the car locked.

Re: C5 Flat battery
It will settle a little after being parked up but the suspension shouldn't spring into life before its unlocked the next time. It definitely shouldn't be moving via the pump without the key in and the doors locked.
