C3 Picasso rear disc pads

Unread post by russbif »

Hello,

first post, looking forwards to enjoying this forum.

I need a bit of help to clear up some confusion, I have a C3 Picasso 1.6Hdi with FAP, the VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. I need to fit new rear pads, however there are several types on Eurocarparts, all allegedly for the same vehicle but at different prices, I spoke to them yesterday and they say that the ones I need are part No. 101440328, but they are not sure, these are pagid pads.
Can anybody enlighten me as to the correct ones to fit, I live in Spain and it isn't easy to pop them back to the store if incorrect.
BTW, my local dealer has gone bust due to the "crisis" so cannot get any help there, the Citroen website shows a change around RPO12774..

Different makes cost different amounts. I have used Pagid pads on my Xantia, and not had any problems with them.

You could look on the GSF website, but you are likely to find the same price issue.

Yes, I am paranoid, but am I paranoid ENOUGH?

I'm not too concerned with the price, I just want the correct fitment, Eurocarparts said that the two sets of pads were for different callipers, I thought they were all Lucas...

Whilst there is a change of pads at RP 12774 there is no change to the discs, calipers, or yokes. Leads me to believe that either will fit - the change must have been minor. Don't buy them from eurocarparts though - buy instead from carparts4less - same outfit, but they're about 30% cheaper!
