C5 diesel what is this part called can you help

hi guys i have a C5 diesel 138 brake and i have noticed a small oil leak from a part under the plastic engine cover at the front of the engine. it is were the intercooler pipe and the turbo pipe fits on it also has 3 or 4 very small pipes going to some sort of vavles. I think it has some thing to do with mixing the hot and cold air.
and then tells the ecu how mutch fuel / air is needed.. i ask this as i have a intermitent problem with the car holding back and juddering and a very snappy accelerator pedel as if it as running out of diesel then bingo the car goes back to normal and it runs fine. so i need to find out if this part can be the problem.. does it have butterfly valves in it that open and closes to regulate the air if so is that the problem because its leaking oil. been to citroen and all they said is that we will put it on our lexia for the price of £89 + vat but we might not be able to find a problen as there are no lights on..
so can anybody help

Might be the Air Dossuer? Something like that. Think they can go wrong and quite a bit on the 1.6 hdi. Never researched the 2.0 138.

Oil leaks from this area are quite common, and it is usually the "blow past oil" in the intercooler pipes. The oil shouldn't be there, but in practice most turbo cars have some in the intake, and it will tend to leak out from any tiny leak in the air system. These inlet tracts have flaps in them for emissions, and the flap spindles usually allow a little oil out over a period of time. Seriously doubt it will be your problem. The air fuel mix is worked out by the airflow meter, this is connected to the air filter lid pretty much, and easily visible.
Trying to figure out your issue is nigh on impossible without the diagnostic, but personally I wouldn't use the dealer.Have a look on here and see if you can hook up with a member that can help you out.

hi mate.. tried to contact chris with p message but with no reply ( might be doing it wrong) cheked the unit yesterday and inside was coverd in oil even took out the 2 sensors and thay were coverd in oil to as was the flaps so cleaned then up as good as i can. and it driven great so do you think i should change the unil with new sensors aswell.
oh does chris (citroenmad) have a contact number that i can have..
