Cunifer Pipe & unions.....where to get it all?

Unread post by kitchD6C »

Hi,

Have just bought myself a flaring tool to repipe one of my BXs. Now I need to find some 3.5mm and 4.5mm Cunifer pipe along with unions (stainless I'm told are best) along with everything else I need (o-rings, seals etc). I'm not going to re-pipe the whole car, as some of the pipework is in good order but I might need to join to some existing ones (wonder if my flaring tool can do steel pipes? #-o )

Any advice on what sort of bits I need and where to get them would be appreciated. So far all I've found is Cunifer in a reel - imperial sizes which aren't quite the same as the metric ones.

Thanks

Hi Kitch,

This from xmexclusive over on club-XM.co.uk in answer to a very similar question...
My last lot of CuNic pipe and some seals came from Malcolm Lockwood.
http://www.mlockwood.org.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 01274 640590 / 079 666 296 33.
Found him very helpful. Robert Smart recommended him.
His postage is much cheaper than Pliaedes fixed fee if you want a single roll or length of pipe.
Service was good and fast (48hrs).
