Citroen Xantia Aux. Belt

Post by Taffyrhys »

Hi All

My Citoen Xantia Estate 2.0 HDI (110) will require a new Aux belt at some point as it looks a bit tired. However i looked at it today and its a Dayco 6Pk 1736 but i was wondering if this is the correct belt? as i thought the standard belt is a little shorter?

Does anybody know the standard size belt? and does it matter if i fit a slightly shorter belt?

Happy Xmas everybody only 2 more sleeps to go :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Cheers

I think (but I am NOT certain) that the belt length varies dependant on whether the car has air con or not. The experts would know better.

Edit; I found this on e-bay, and it gives a much better explanation than mine;
