Tyre Pressure Sensor in 2007 C5

Hi all,

I bought a used 2007 C5.
How do I now whether this car has been previously installed with factory fitted with tyre pressure sensor? The original tyres were gone.

Will the car recognizes the sensors if I just buy the C5 tyre pressure sensors?

On the later C5 to activate tyre pressure sensors (provided they were fitted at the factory) you need a Lexia and another tool called an exciter to 'excite' the sensors into life, simply buying new sensors and getting them fitted to the wheels won't work. These are the sensors for the later C5 so if your car uses the same ones I presume the activation procedure will be similar.
