Type of Eolys to use,

I have a 2006 C5 Estate 2.2 HDI (DW12TED4).
It has done 95000km and I've been investigating the fuel additive tank as it will be due for top up soon. There seems to be about 1" of fluid left in the tank but no warning yet.
When getting under the LHS rear of the car I can visualise the tank under the heat shield. The click connector that is visible is black with a white push tab.
My research indicates that this is for DPX42 but the sellers websites seem to indicate that this was used for vehicles before 2002 and later ones will take Eolys 176.
Any comments as I'm totally confused

You can buy the universal JML PAT fluid which does either about £25 per litre off the flea bay.
