Immobiliser question for insurance, Xantia

Post by Jaf »

Hi guys. Having found out the hard way that Fred has an immobiliser (after nearly 6 years to my shame) I want to see if my insurance could be cheaper. So, do I just say factory fitted or is there a category? It's just the standard immobiliser with the key talking to the fuel pump. Thanks!
Fred, a silver 1998 1.9TD SX Xantia.
Gwin, a white 1994 1.1 AX.

And being factory fitted, it will make no difference to your insurance.
Insurance companies do not value factory fitted ones, although if you disable it they must be informed.
