Headlight Adjuster Motors - Minds of their own!

Post by dandare1980 »

Hi,

I've recently noticed whilst queuing in rush hour traffic that my head light adjuster motors seem to have a mind of their own.........

Whilst observing the headlight beam pattern on a car in front of me, the lights are regularly adjusting themselves up and down and also independently of one another. It looks like a pair of eye brows pulling all manner of expressions!

The level control wheel inside the vehicle still operates the adjuster motors ok and both at the same time. It doesn't seem to matter what setting I have them on as I still get this weird headlight behaviour.

Any ideas what might cause this?

Thanks in advance.

Dan.
