Hi all,
Not sure if this is common with C5.
When I brake at the traffic light, the car will produce a clunk noise (sound like gulk) and I can feel that the car is like jerking backward. Something like when firing a riffle with a recoil (jerking) .
Do you guys experienced this? How should I go around rectifying it? Now few things come to mind:
1. Brake oil level normal. Do I have to bleed again?
2. Change the hose to a steel one?
3. Front brake pad already changed, caliper jam problem?
Kindly advise me and Thank you very much.

Re: Braking problem with C5
Hi all,
After changing the Front and Rear brake pad, I don’t experience noises when braking anymore.
When changing the brake pads, I asked the Mechanic to find the braking problem.
Then we realized that the jerking effect is due the right lower arm bushing. When I brake, the wheel actually jerked!
As usual, Citroen is not common here and he doesn’t know where to get the part but is quite sure it is the bushing problem.
Can the expert help me to confirm this?
Thank you very much.
