XM hydraulics

My xm sinks like a stone when i put her in high and turn of the engine maybe 2-3 mins is all it takes then its down to the bump stops without even stopping at intermediate setting usually front end dipping down first,lhm is topped up and seems ok,she raises immediatley and seems to drive ok altho sports mode seems to be ineffective,it is a 1995 2.1 deisel hydro2 model,any ideas,

Maybe strut o-rings are gone (unfortunatelly, no repair kits). Disconnect rubber return pipes from struts and ceheck is there any excessive leakage. Other possibilities are height correctors and, I presume, hydractive electrovalves.
