C5 heater

Post by gjtands »

Does anyone know why the heater blows hotter on the passenger side than the drivers side?

Mine is blowing permanantly hot on the passenger side, I think its a faulty servo motor but I haven't looked yet.

It is usually a broken cog on the servo, caused most often by the flap warping slightly and dragging or catching at the extremes of travel.
There is an upgraded motor with an improved (brass instead of plastic) cog.
