Hi
Newbie to 308's but had a Citroen C5 before this.
Anyway, have a real odd question to pose. I've had the 308 for couple of weeks and initially got really good mileage (it's the 1.6HDI model). Then consumption went through the floor and so did lots of raw diesel. When checked by RAC the leak off pipe at end of injector pack was almost completely worn through. The dealer says it is probably mice or squirrels have chewed it.
I cannot believe this as diesel smells foul and I'm sure it must taste as bad as it smells. If this is a problem then how do I stop it happening in the future?
Cheers
Ian
