hi guys ignition key snapped in ignition,can i get away with getting second hand barrel and transponder or have i got to get it reprogramed

Blade and barrel will be fine , but what about door locks?

The transponder chip is in the black pivot of the key plipper so you need to
swap that to the replacement lock/lock barrel you fit. Don't forget the
lock in the glovebox as well as the new door locks and I'm pretty sure the
airbag override is generic not key specific.
