Citroen C5 Stepper Motor

Post by begins »

Hi all,

Now, my C5 (Year 2007) speedometer needle is no longer working.

Can someone advise me whether this is the correct part to replace?

Is the price reasonable or I can get a better deal else where?

Thank you very much.

Have been there! Not on an '07' but couldn't source a stepper motor from a scrapyard for a while so just nicked the one off the rev counter until i could.Pretty easy job too if i remember correctly.

I think you should shop around for a better price, I'm sure I've seen them at half that from Italy, also there's this that someone posted on another forum, it's just the plastic cover (the bit that breaks off is part of the cover) so you need to swap the innards.

Erm...after factoring the shipping charges, it is about US9+- saving from the ebay.

Still, there is saving and Thank you very much for the recommendation.
