Lexia and windows

Post by horsedentist »

Sorry to ask so many questions but can you reset the automatic window travel parameters using lexia? The passenger door window seems to hit the top of the frame triggering the anti pinch function so it opens back about 33%. even when closing manually if you misjudge the top of the travel it will go clunk and drop back.

What car is this on?

If its a Xantia I'm pretty sure there isn't the facility in Lexia to do what you're asking, if its a c5 then I think there's a set procedure you need to follow to reset the windows, have you tried looking in the handbook as I think this problem arises after a battery change.

It is a C5.

According to the hand book if you disconnect the battery for a while the anti pinch is deactivated and the window will only go up a few cm's at a time allowing you to reset the operation. I have tried this and it doesn't work :( the anti pinch is still operational and it still closes automatically when you hit the button?
Lexia doesn't show any faults on the window system.
