Haynes Manual for sensodrive

Post by BarryK »

Does anyone know of an English workshop manual that covers sensodrive gearboxes?

My C3 senso has started to have problems with reverse gear selection, intermittent at the moment so maybe just a bad connection or sticky solenoid.

The Haynes manuals do not appear to include anything on the senso box so any info regarding this gearbox would be gratefully received.

Many Thanks and Kind Regards

There have been several threads on sensodrive problems, have a look through these until someone who knows comes along.

I'm afraid the new era of Haynes deliberately errs away from anything remotely complicated and would rather
spend a chapter telling you how to top up screenwash change wipers the spare wheel or the scent cassette of
the ventilation than get into the gritty world of valve blocks, gears and conrods. Brave new world or more likely
a fear of being sued by someone left in the lurch by their instructions?

You're best off googling the net where the pukka manual may drop out of a knowledgeable source!
