'what he said'........
I have used this twice now and a lot of rubbish came out, especially the first time. Bought mine from Camskill via Ebay as cheapest I found but check around for best prices as things may have changed.

Some people say you can drive the car with it in, and no doubt you can, but I followed the instructions on the bottle. First use warm up engine add flush and leave it in for 40 minutes with engine ticking over before removing the oil.

If you change the engine oil at about every 6000 miles it will stay lovely and clean and last a lot longer.

I think they do brilliant job, never used them my self... a bit too cautious for stories I heard lol.
Ie one friend of mine on a petrol engine though... he damaged the seals by leaving it too long in.
So I would follow the instructions on the bottle carefully :) :)

i do usualy change the oil at 6000 miles but when i bought this car it had just been serviced it has done 3000 miles since then and the oil is black and sludgey hence wanting to use a good engine flush then see how it goes and probably change it again in 3000 miles with another flush untill it stays reasonably clean

If you're not used to diesels the oil does seem to go black quickly compared to petrols but sludgey already? You're right that's not good..........

Diesel.

A wee drop works as well as any flush.
