Retro fit Saxo temp gauge

Post by carl »

could anyone advise me where I could obtain a suitable temperature gauge for my 97 Saxo East Coast. I would prefer a unit that could be pluged into the warning light sender if this is possible? thanks.

Go to the new section - useful links. Fourth one from the bottom (at present) is Dave's Vehicle Electrickery. Look on that site and you'll find a section on gauges. There are two types for temperature. The electrical one is easiest to fit. It comes with a compatible bulb which, if you are lucky will have the same thread as the sender unit in your engine. It will be the rear one on the thermostat housing. All you need do is pass the wire through the bulk head and fit the dial in a suitable position on the dash. It's a job well worth doing. I fitted one some years ago on a BX D which I then owned.
