it rained yesterday for the first time since owning the Xantina, actually it's been over 6 months. any how used the auto wipers for the first time.

how brilliant are these. more cars should have this feature. a better feature than auto head lights.

no rain for 6 months mmmm. auto wipers on mine seem to be always in use nowdays think we had a dry day a while ago

Yes, mine too, both very nice features to have. Also the hydractive suspension and the electric seats - as they adjust to the most comfortable position for me. After that it would be the CD changer

I like the auto wipers too but I find a lot of circumstances where there is drizzle or a truck has thrown up a bit of mist on the windscreen where they will just not wipe and I'm forced to manually turn it off and back on again, which defeats the purpose a bit. It could really do with an opportunistic wipe at least once every 30 seconds to a minute if there is the slightest detected water to deal with these kind of situations like gradual buildup of mist... Actual rain drops it has no trouble detecting.

you know it's a car than never was really on my radar. we had a very nice E30 BMW when living in Devon and loved that car, and the more time i spend with the Xantia the more i like it. it's biggest advantage over almost any other car i have owned is it's ease to work on. we plan on moving back to Devon at some point in the future and a hi spec Xantia Estate HDi will be on the shopping list. I just cant believe how cheep they are (for what you get) on ebay-uk.
