Emanuals on line

Post by rowland420 »

I have a 2002 C5 2.2Hdi estate and because Haynes dont do a manual for this model I bought a manual from the company emanuals-on-line. I was unable to download their manual (may have been the fault of my ISP) so paid for the CD version.

I am not a total computer buff, but I have built my own machines and I dont think I am stupid but the CDs come with the most difficult to follow instructions I have ever come aross. I have tried twice to get the manual to work but I just cant. I would tell anyone to avoid these people and their products unless you are a real wizard at computers.

I am going to ask my son in law who is a professional programmer and expert in microsoft software to have a look at it.

You can only contact the company's help line by email. No phone number.

I have bought CD manuals before and they have worked fine.

Rowland.

Rowland, thanks for the heads up, any chance you can post the instructions?
Might be one of use can shed some light on them or at least we can then join you in being stunned by how poor they are :)

And the first thing I thought of too  That was the first 'X' rated film I ever saw... A few of us sneaked in the local cinema and we were all a couple of years under-age too! Happy memories...

i have the CD no not the seedy version :-D  on disc for the C5, from EMANUALS i boughtit a few years ago,
you had to put the disc into your computer this would generate a code which you had to email to the company, who in turn sent you an unlock code,

i cant use this disc now as tyhe computer we had it up and running on died and we cant find any trace of the company to help us install onto the machine im using now,

it is absolutely packed with very good info on most citroens even though it was listed as for the C5

I know, I remember the steam locomotive scene like it was yesterday (or was it one of the later films?).
