Ok, message sent. My sent messages folder shows up the other two as having been sent. Having vanished out of the outbox folder I presumed they'd either been read/received/sent. Another message is unanswered, by another member. Do these personal messages ever fail?

Check your sent items folder isn't full - the limit is 60 messages for each folder from memory. My inbox filled up and I stopped receiving messages, wondered why I wasn't getting replies for a while

Doesn't always happen though.
