Dyane Photos

Post by jwalshe »

A few weeks ago, my parents went on holiday to Devon.... and out of the blue returned in a yellow Dyane! I'm sure most parents buy an MG or something when they retire but there you go! Here are some photos I took at the weekend!:

That sounds like something my parents would do! Its a very nice looking Dyane, suits that colour very nicely 8-)

Nice - my Dad had one that colour in the late 80's -TDL 690S. Wasn't in anything like that condition, even then :-D

I'm pretty sure there's a photo of it on the Miliary road on the Isle of Wight next to a snow drift that's higher than the roof  I'll see if I can find it next time I at my parents' and post it up....

That looks a beauty, the yellow roofs are difficult to keep clean, but look so much better than black, which they usually get changed for.

The roof on this one (yellow canvas) is actually really filthy. Seems to have spent a lot of time untreated and under a tree so there's mould ingrained in the canvas. Tried all sorts of methods in cleaning it but to no avail. What with the poppers broken it would seem wise to replace.

Question is... What are the best options? Canvas or PVC? Any thoughts very much appreciated! :-)
