Depends what you're buying, I buy different parts from different suppliers...

I've bought spheres from aepdirect, so I can vouch for them for that. Some other parts I've bought from GSF and yet others from carparts4less.co.uk. I have no experience with eurocarparts.

What sort of parts are you after ? For parts like balljoints its more important what the brand is than where you get it.

I use them quite a lot because there's a depot about two miles away. Also you can order and reserve online then go and collect. Doing it that way there are some fantastic discounts to be had. Last week I got a Bosch 5year battery with 15% off and during the summer got discs and pads for the C5 and Xsara with 30% off.

I'm lucky, in Reading we have a wide choice of motor factors. I've used ECP, and I have had no problems with them.

eurocrapparts sold me a USED oxygen sensor. Obviously some dodgy mechanic had swapped it, then returned the box for a credit.

Then they ignored every single polite but firm complaint about this event.

They still spam me with their drivel. I will NEVER buy with them again.

i wont use ECP anymore as i think they sell sub standard and also fake parts,

i had a oxygen sensor from them in a Bosch box, fitted it took the car for a re/test and it failed on lambda sensor,
i had fitted a new cat at the same time, fitted the old sensor returned to test station and the car past MOT,

also bought a pair of front arms from them for a Volvo V70, the bush's didnt last a year before they literally fell apart

it seems to me they are out to try and wipe out there competitors by undercutting price's,

this means they have to adopt the T*E*S*C*O syndrome of squeezing there buying in price down so much the manufacturer has to cut corner, and produce sub stranded crap :grr: :grr:

Eurocarparts are swines if you want to return anything. "its used" is their common issue, well i rang them up and supplied the car reg/model and they sent the incorrect part, who's at fault them or me? You can more often than not compare parts to see if they are correct, but sometimes its only when you offer up a part in a tight space you realise its not gonna fit!

Same here (well, Twyford anyway) and I use ECP and GSF, though I tend to go to Slough because it's quicker to get there than to Reading, despite being twice the distance. No problems with either. I've also bought spheres from AEP direct and Pleaides.

AEP for me if it's a choice between GSF, ECP and AEP. Just be absolutely sure you both know which part it is you need if buying mail order - VIN or registration numbers aren't always enough. Malcolm Lockwood runs an excellent smaller business, and ime good small businesses are better than good big businesses - for a start you'll talk to someone who knows his stuff. 01274 640590.

Europarts are great prices on Bosch batteries plus they are the only ones I will use now.
