Hi all, am new on here so bear with me!!
Have a 52 plate C5 2.2 hdi exclusive estate. 149k on clock. The rear suspension kept raising and lowering constantly ...about 2inches up then the same down .It would do this all the time. A local guy said the pump was leaking back so he fitted a 2nd hand unit. Now the pump only seems to work when it feels like it, and the height button between the seats does move the car up and down but only about 4" and not every time. It seems that if you switch the ingnition off and on then that will activate the pump but the rear suspension remains very soft and if you sit in the tailgate the rear goes well down but the pump does not activate. Switch in the boot does very little also, when the pump does run for a while then the rear still wont sit still. Any help on this would be great as I love the car but no one seems to understand them!!

Re: C5 INTERMITENT SUSPENSION PUMP ISSUE
Sound like a problem with the rear height sensor. Not incredibly expensive.
