citroen zx interior light dont work when door is opened

hi i just bought a citroen zx 1995 td and the interior lights dont come on when any of the doors are opened as they should. is there i fuse for this to work. i had a quick luck but couldnt see any fuses gone. the interior lights work fine when switched on and off manually.

Sometimes the light has a two or three way switch on it, try all positions.

Door switch's...

Half way down the front pillar near the Door check strap there should be a sort of small black plunger... These switch the lights on and off.. If they get corroded or a bad connection the lights dont come on..

Remove the T20 Torx screw, and pull the switch out CAREFULLY, the plug on the end can pop off easyilly and get lost in the pillar... Clean all the faces up and try again...

thanks for the quick replies ive checked the light on all three settings so it must be the doors switches. but the light doesnt come on with any of the doors. if only one is broken will this stop all the doors working ?
