Pug 308 - what does this button do?

Post by Chlorate »

Hello,

Got to go up to Sheffield on Monday, and annoyingly the company prefers it if you hire a car for business trips instead of using your own vehicle :(

So I'm lumbered with this 308 HDi and for whatever reason there's no owner's manual in the car (thanks Avis..)
In the driver's footwell next to the headlight level switch is a button that says "eco off", if I press and hold a yellow light appears and the dashboard screen tells me I've deactivated eco mode.

So what does eco mode do? :?

I have a feeling I'm going to miss the Xantia on Monday...

Most likely the climate control - turns the compressor on/off.

After a bit of a google it seems to control the stop-start system.

So shall be pressed!
