MOT day today for my C5 2.2HDi

So some of you may remember that 4 weeks ago I picked up a mint, really immaculate (52) reg Citroen C5 2.2HDi Auto, with FSH, and no apparant faults, for £575. (Seller had new car and knew these cars were hard to sell on, especially with auto, and just wanted off the drive).

Well the car is in for it's MOT today, so I thought you folks could cross your fingers with me! ...... I won't mind a little bit of spend to get such a good car through a years MOT, when I paid so little for it, but I'm just praying there's nothing really major. (It needs at least 1 tyre).

I got the dream call!

"Hello, it's the garage, your car's passed it's MOT and is ready".

Needed absolutely nothing..... I've been motoring for 25 years and think was only the second time I've had a car fly through, requiring nothing.

It got one advisory for some early corrosion to one of the brake pipes. Nothing else.

Even the tyre that I thought needed replacing didn't as the wear was on the edge of the wall, and the main 3/4 section of the tyre had a ton of tread.

Very, very, happy with my big floating armchair of a C5 ..... the biggest bargain I have ever picked up.

Nice to see another happy 2.2 owner funnily enough mine just passed it's MOT the other day maybe something to do with working at the garage but nothing wrong found.

I am the sort of person to change anything which is not 100% right, changed the whole front suspension just to make sure it was 100% and changed my interior door handles and window switches for new ones as there were scratched a little OCD me thinks.
