Citroen C5 ABS pump HELP!!!!

hi if anyone could help me please
This c5 2.0 petrol hpi is driving me nuts
i keep getting a "braking fault" comming up on the dash
when you start the car after a about 5 seconds you get the beep folowed by "braking fault" and the service and stop lights come on
i have read it with lexia and are getting permant fault electrovalve internal fault
does this mean the abs unit has failed alltogether?

Hi

No product knowledge on this, however when working for Honda, we used to get a similar fault, which turned out to be poor contacts on the multip plug with the ABS unit, the mod was to remove the plug, check the contacts, use contact lube and reasemble, with a hammer, no joke, the, gentle, shock ensured the plug seated, it may also free off the sticky valve.

Never know, it might help?
