Lidl still had a few items from the 20th August Special Buy's on September the 4th when I had a mooch round the "big two" for such things while the Leaf was getting its MOT.

No doubt all gone now £5.99 for each of 4 items in the "Parkside Pipe Tool's" Offer.

As I usually do I thought I don't really need them right now...I have a pipe flaring set on pretty permanent "loan" but did think £5.99 was pretty cheap for one.
The offer in store from 20 Aug 2023 was:

Double Flaring Tool Set

In a plastic box
Fits pipes with Ø: 5-6-8-10-12-14-16mm

Maximum pipe wall thickness: 1mm
Pipe Cutters
Cuts soft metal pipes without burrs
Fits outside diameter: from Ø 3mm to Ø 35mm
Maximum pipe wall thickness: 1mm
Pipe Bender
Bends brass and copper pipes
Fits pipes with Ø: 6-8-10mm

Maximum pipe wall thickness: 1mm
Plastic Pipe Cutter

Bought a Dremmel-alike and a set of tools for it. Have a Dremmel but it has been squatting at my son's for the past year.
Was going to use it to polish scratches from some specs. Can't find the specs though.

Also some Forstner drill bits that I could have done with last week for a little project. Hoping I can cram them into my router.
They have lots of wonderful stuff that it is hard to resist buying although I know all too well that I will never use them.

This was from Lidl, that seems to be my preferred place to lighten my wallet these days.

But most petrol stations are charging more (and, in some cases, a LOT more; MFG charges £33 for 10l).

Knowing ALDI (and Lidl) they will "fake-up" a label to make it look like a product that has spent many years and many hundreds of thousands of Pounds building up unique branding.......marketing thieves the pair of them....dishonest companies

Not from Lidl or Aldi but this auction has a fair amount of workshop kit which someone may find useful. If anyone can suggest a better thread please do and I'll put it there too :-D

Could have done with some of that stuff a few years ago Mick but not sure I would make enough use out of it now.

I watch catalogues online regularly and go and visit when needed. I've probably viewed at the centre a dozen or so times this year and collected 9 times after sales. I just enjoy the buzz at an auction!! :-D
