I haven't seen halogen headlamp bulbs for sale at either Aldi of Lidl for years (well pre-Covid). I particularly liked the Aldi ones as they were +90% and I'm down to my last pair of H7s.

Tesco are currently flogging 5 litre cans of RedEx Adblue for a Clubcard price of £6.45... Spotted when I went shopping this morning. Not sure if this is in all branches...

It makes the car swear at adverts Mick 😉 In Polly's case, just like her owner...

I'm rather disappointed Adblue is not actually blue 😕

Me too! To the extent I don't understand what the name is supposed to mean!

(Cue: Google searching!)

Errrrrr
https://www.nationwidefuels.co.uk/oil-g ... ths-usage/

No clue as to the name but this caught my eye:
What is AdBlue fluid made of?
AdBlue is a non-toxic, non-flammable and odourless solution that contains 32.5% of high purity water and 67.5% of deionised water.
I presume one of those is Urea?? (Guessing the 32.5%) = yes other sites confirm this. No clues as to the meaning of the name other than "a German trademarked name for Diesel Exhaust Fluid DEF" that I can find!

From a DDG search this shows where the name comes from but not why! :-D

In the international standard defining DEF (ISO 22241), it is referred to as AUS 32 (aqueous urea solution 32%).[5] DEF is also sold as AdBlue, a registered trademark of the German Association of the Automotive Industry.

Yes, I kept reading similar when I was searching, but I'm missing the "blue" bit of it, why blue? :-D
