I use the Meguiars Endurance high gloss tyre gel. It comes in a bottle so you need to apply it with an applicator pad/sponge.

It lasts a lot time, even after driving on wet roads, it protects the tyres and looks great. You can add a small amount to have a black tyre or more to have a gloss looking tyre. As it is applied rather than sprayed it is neater and does not contanimate the alloy wheel with gel and so the wheel does not pick up the brake dust like glue, as it does with a spray on gel.

It is the only tyre dressing I use now, is available from Halfords, last ages and is not that expensive.

I'm an auto glem man have been for many years tried a variety of different things and have loads of near full bottle sitting around (I hate to throw anything out) that didn't leave a good finish. As above I found if you spray it on to the tyre it covers the alloy so spray it onto a microfibre cloth and rub on to the tyre leaves a good finish

As Citroenmad says the megs endurance is very good but my personal favourite and I've tried a few is Finishkare 108as , thoroughly clean/degrease the tyre before application apply using a microfibre pad/cloth . This leaves a nice natural look to the tyre and lasts pretty well too . Here's a link http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels-an ... d_635.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Agree with the megs but as a quickie I love Turtlewax wet & black. So easy if you are in a rush & lasts a while too.
If I throw a stick, will you leave?.

Is that the stuff in the clear spray bottle?

I used to use that before the Meguiars, very good but it does get on the wheels and sticks the brake dust.
