the colour is standard called venetian green witch is quite rare now. the air filter i put on due to a previous owner putting on a cheap pne that just didnt do any justice and looked horrid. yes the fun screw is on the side and the one on the top is the boost compensator. been tweeked has the pump and its reading 20psired_dwarfers wrote:Welcome to the forum Karl
I've not noticed that shade of green before, almost looks military spec!
Interesting choice of air filter and placement of it, what was the reason behind that?
I've not heard of a few of the mods either, might be ideas for new blog posts!
Do you know about the 'fun screw' on the top of the fuel pump? As far as I know, it increases the fuelling on boost.

ye i put my filter at the top so it could get better air through the grille. previous owner had a cone filter at the lower point and it sucked up a stone witch nackerd the turbo so had to change the turbo when i got it. grinding witch pin the LDA?. ye the colour i love everybody looks at it and asks questions. better when shes been polishedspider wrote:Its good to see the filter intake is actually high up. I saw a cone filter on one once where it was at the lower point (you know where the airfilter box is low down) so if they had gone through a deep puddle there would of been a "problem"due to hydraulic lock.
Never quite understood though why the DT compared to the NA 306's had the filter at the back, iirc the standard NA top box will fit with some work to the intake pipework plastics.
As a random thought check that you do not have any air intake piping right low down at the back if possible.
I'm aware of grinding the pin 'tweak' to provide a bit more urgency too.
It is an uncommon colour for a TD most of the green ones that shade tended to be 5 door LX's or estates.
cheers mate. went to autotronix developmets in sheffield. theres a video on youtube of us allbxzx16v wrote:Very nice , love the colour . Which RR meet did you go to ?

That's a very good way of putting it Kev... The car has a very determined look on its face - in much the same way as an Ami 6 does...red_dwarfers wrote:The car looks proper angry with the new front end, a good nod over to the 406 Coupé.
i was expecting 130 bhp but i want 150 now. people go mental with these engines. somebody was runnning 200bhp. a friend of mine came to the rolling road and he pulled 179bhp and 240torque i think it wasred_dwarfers wrote:The car looks proper angry with the new front end, a good nod over to the 406 Coupé.
122bhp sounds quite good from a 92bhp engine to meWhat sort of power were you expecting? How far have people gone with the XUD?
