the above fitted to the middle row of the below, thinking a row of 3 in each.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-DRL ... 2a22e83e71" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

got some of those on the front of my xantia hooked up with a drl relay which connects to an engine run live and the side lights so that the drls come on as soon as engine is running but as soon as sidelights are on they dim right down to stop from blinding people,

also be very carefull where u put them as there a rules and regs, i think from memory they have to be at least 250 mm from floor, 1.5 m max hight, and if they are with in 400 mm of the indicators they have to dim when the indicators are flashing,

they relays are on ebay

i used version 2 bit there is a way on the person who is selling thems website how you can link a version 3 and 2 version 2's to dim down with sidelights and with indicators

version 1
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-DRL-DAYTI ... 35bf33e5c2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

version 2
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-DRL-DAYTI ... 35bf33e5bf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

version 3
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-DRL-DAYTI ... 35bf33e5b1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

ps if some admin could shorten the links for me it'd be appriciated ive forgotten how to do it.

I have those very same light and Genlabs wiring fitted at the moment but want a more factory fitted look.

I will drill into the new bumper inserts and fit the bulbs flush.

Thanks for your information. oh how do you shorten web links?

Lurchy, if you aren't feeling fancy you can also go to tinyurl.com. The conversion is dead easy, and works well if your URL has more characters than a Monty Python movie.

If you watch the latest Audis with the Long ones in the headlights you'll wonder were the indicators are, if you see one indicating you see the light goes OFF and switches to amber flashing LED.. but only the end 4 or 3 do it.. Its rather clever, but not sure what they will function like in say 15 years time... :-k

15 years? Seen Audi's with failed LED's 15 months down the line, best bit is you have to buy the whole unit not just the failed LED. :shock:

I wanted them to look factory fitted, had some on before but did not look right. Sure is a cheap easy mod and I believe safer during the day.
