Citroen C8 Airbag and Horn fault

Hi, I'm new here but hopefully someone can help as our C8 is due its MOT soon.

We have a 53 plate Citroen C8 2.0 auto SX.
The problem it that the horn does not function and the airbag light is always on.
I am guessing that the fault is in the steering wheel/column as that has both an airbag and horn switch.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a cause and solution?

The horn issue could be something simple such as the contacts behind the wheel needing a clean up, had that a few times on Citroen's of the era of your car, re the airbag check the seat belt pretensioner connections under the front seats, they get dislodged by passengers feet/luggage being pushed under the front seats.

Is removing the horn/airbag something I can do myself and if so can anyone give/suggest guidance?
