A lucky find.....

Post by mirafioriman »

Went back to the breakers today on my Xantia electronic speedo quest.

On one of the cars (an R reg series 1 hatch) I found these. They look like they have been fitted recently rather than being the originals. I decided I better get them :)

They do indeed look new, certainly a lucky find.

Looking good - nice find!

From the pics these may be NOS as the replacement new ones have a noticeable bump
in rubber on the front shoulder directly beneath where the sphere is attached although
I have no idea if it serves any purpose!

Best scrap yard deal I've had was a mint front Activa ram where he had no idea what it
was or what to charge and asked me to name my price so I offered 20 quid which he was
happy with!
