Diag box

Anyone successfully got this working, I have it on my old tough book, but it is way too slow to run the program successfully.
Have unsuccesfully installed on a very powerful new lappy, but can't get it to validate . Had it going once , but won't work now .

What version are you installing? I installed on another netbook last night, always takes several painstaking attempts.

We installed 6.1, tried an update to 6.2, which may have killed it.
Despite uninstalling many times it seems to have blocked the laptop

I installed v 6.01 today on laptop running vista

It failed 1st attempt so I made sure c:/program files/diagbox , c:/app and c:/awroot were deleted. I had to go into admin mode to delete one of the folders as it said I didn't have permission?

Installed from iso file mounted in magic iso. Quitted program on 1st validation startup.
Manually extracted lexia.7z pp2000.7z and ppdiag 7z into the c:/app folder (not sure that this is strictly necessary but worked for me)
Rebooted laptop.
copied patch into c:/program files/diagbox and patched successful
opened diagbox validated successful it then copies lexia/pp2000/ppdiag

working ok

Thanks, will get my lad on it, he might understand all that
Think there may be issues with the virus protection on the laptop, do you have some, or completely delete it?, we have to keep deactivating it, coz it wants to sit on everything.

I had avast antivirus running but had wifi connection disabled during install. When it asks to check for updates I din't let it.
