Xantia HDi ECU swap

Hi all..

Im on the look out for 110 HDi 2000 or 2001 ECU... But my question is, has anyone done an ECU swap with a Lexia, how is it done? I no doubt need my key code too do I ??

Based on my understanding you need the ECU unlock code off the donor, that is all. Code your keys to the new ECU and it's all done.

Still got the ECU off that rust bucket of an Hdi I bought. Still got all the paper work, so will have a look tomorrow re the ECU code in the paperwork.

I believe DG has. Where is he when you really need his knowledge? Sunning himself in some flashy part in a flashy motor no doubt :lol: :lol: :lol:

I believe DG did it with a brand new ECU though.

I suspect addo is right though

In theory, with a Lexia and the right data CD, you should be able to update the software version on your existing ECU. In practice, it seems to be hit or miss.

so how or where do i find the code then..

i basically want a late as possible Ecu for mine for one last equipment addition. Not for any running reasons. according to my trip computer after a 600 mile trip Im averaging 53.8mpg or so.. and according to the calculations its about right too...
