And not very old, if the fashion is anything to go by - it looks to be 1985/6.

Yes, the facebook (on the left in the photo) user had the photo dated as 1986.

She's a fat old bruiser now. :-D

Which GSA is it/model year I wonder. Do the large trims suggest it's a 1299? What about the passenger-side mirror, were they standard across the board? Oh I wish there were still cars made with that level of engineering excellence. Even working on them looks straightforwards compared with some of the over-complex tat sold in the 21st century.

Where was the photo taken I wonder, wedding, last day of school?

Couldn't help laughing...I bet when that photo was taken they didn't think a bunch of anoraks would be commenting on the cars in the background in years to come...

Can't beat a GS/A though - lovely vehicles. Fantastic. :-D

I think the GSA only came in 1299cc didn't it? The nearside mirror and the wheel trims would suggest a 'Club' spec I think, so would have had a 5 speed 'box too. The type of mirror fitted also means it must be a 1981 onwards model.......my grandad owned two of them from new, an August 1980 'Club', followed by an August 1982 'Special', and being a kid obsessed with cars at the time I can remember every tiny detail of them
