Never seen a full teardown, there is a slightly dodgy Thai overhaul on the internet.
I haven't pictures of how the pulley is pressed off the shaft end, but am assured it's well possible.
Also I recommend using an impact driver on the Torx insert blanking plugs, or at least set your rattle gun to gentle and apply fully bodyweight as downward pressure with the pump on a block of pinewood, on your floor. It eliminates damage to the splined recesses, making a more professional repair.

Re: Sinker pump strip down
Another way to help the Torx Plugs out is to give them a gentle but deliberate whack with a hammer on their faces before trying to undo them. It really works...
Malcolm, if you want any bits, I have a rough sinker pump here from a petrol car I believe. It's not in good nick but it may yield a few useful bits...
It needs collecting though...

Re: Sinker pump strip down
I keep telling malc I have a petrol sinker pump with no leaks, but from a 8v 1600 1993 petrol engine, which means the pully is almost twice the size of the diesel one. It litterally only needs the pully swapping to make a good derv one...

Re: Sinker pump strip down
yes i know Paul
i have sourced one with a very slight leak that came taken off a TD from Newcastlefalcon,
its on and working
i have also undone the three bolts that hold the pump body together on the original pump ( which was gushing citro blood ), removed the front end with pulley spindle and drive cam,
i found a short length of rust on the mating surface but the seal itself looks fine,
so i have cleaned the rusty surface and bolted it back together

Re: Sinker pump strip down
ps.
Paul i think it would be possible to swap the front ends from one pump to another now i have had this one apart,
so in the event someone ells requires your sinker pump to fit to a derv car they have that option
