New front bumper trim fitted!

Post by mirafioriman »

Got my new front bumper trim for my series 1 Xantia today :)

It was on backorder and had to come from France but only took a week or so to get here.

A bit difficult to photograph but it really does make a big difference to the look of the car.

Yeah it's made a big difference to the look of the car. Did the back one and side trims a while ago so this completes the look. :)

Fitting is easy, you just push it in and it clips in place.

Removing the old one was harder. It's easier if you remove the bumper and push from behind apparently. I didn't do this and I just butchered it a bit. It came off in pieces but as it was scrap anyway it didn't matter.

The clips are moulded into the inside of the moulding. They simply clip into slots behind. Wish I had taken photos now :(
