All UK Zx16v owners please read

I know this is a long shot but with numbers of the Zx16v dwindling I'm trying to get an idea of how many are remaining either roadgoing or sorned , how many left reckon on 18 roadgoing ? If there are any owners other than me on here please post your location and car details , here's mine .

He knows a guy that has 6 of them all for spares for a rally car....ZX 16 valve of course

Hes juts picked up a white two door 1.9td Volcane with leather as well

It would seam there is only 52 left with 18 taxed and 34 sorn, so yes pretty rare but a lot of older cits only have a few cars left if you seearch by specific model, for instance there is only 13 automatic XM prestiges left with 11 on the road and 2 sorn and one of those sorn is mine

i have one. black 1993 37k mikes.

one was on ebay recently with under 40k miles. and welshpug crashed his black one but i gave him a doner silver one.

ive had 5 in total. scrapped two of them and the next owner scrapped my first one.

pretty rare worldwide. seem to be a few in asia tho and a couplen in south america.

do a search on youtube and you will see a spanish video of them racing in a one make series back in the day.

i understand what you are saying but the difference being the 16v is quite unique within the range. first being 3 door which is quite rare in its own right and then it is the only model that doesnt have straight rear arches. the rear arch area is very different with massive cutouts. then there is the hatch glass and front wings then you have the bodykit.


its not really a different engine and trim level like a lot of the cars you reference too.

i remember that well.

that was an excellent car i spent a lot of money rebuilding the engine which it didnt need. in the end it was a collapsed cat restricting the power. i kept putting it up for sale then changing my mind.

i kept it until mid 2006 i sold it to someone in ireland who road rallied it then scrapped it. i miss it. no other zx i have had since handled or went the same
