blower sound

there is a loud sound coming from the ac blower. What could be the problem?

idk how to explain the sound
but ive suspected that some object had got into the blower. is it possible for this to occur?

Probably best to take the blower out and have a look, its only held in with three screws, take the panel off under the glove box and you will see it, its not difficult to remove.

surprisingly, the sound come from a rubber band! (i dont know how it get in there)

my C5 fan is making an very annoying squeal, whistle almost.. it is ok on the lowest levels, and max.. but anything else almost unusable..

can I get at it as easily? maybe add a bit of WD in there...>?

Haven't had a problem with mine - yet, but if its the same as the XM its above the passenger side foot well.
