Xantia driveshaft seal replacement

Post by mirafioriman »

Well sick of oil leaks from the gearbox so finally got round to getting some new seals from my local Citroen dealer :)

Going to be replacing them at some point in the near future. Anybody got any tips?

Would of thought it being straight forward.. the half shaft bearing will either be a right sod to get out or will pull out nicely with a gentle tap.. make sure the "hocky stick" bolts are undone and swung out the way.. the 11mm nuts dont need to come off completely just undo them to the ends then push the bolts forward and turn them 90deg....
