C3 steering.

Hi, does anyone know whether there is a software upgrade for the early C3 power steering. It seems to steer well enough but does not inspire confidence like the old fashioned hydraulic systems we all got used to.
I've heard all electric steering systems are like this. Can anyone comment?

I don't believe the steering ECU is upgradeable on the C3. Whats the exact problem ? too heavy, too light, notchy ??

Hi , as I said, it steers very well. It's light enough and quite nimble. The problem is "feel", especially when pressing on. Just not as good somehow as hydraulic assistance and nowhere near as good as unassisted steering. (I've been driving quite a while!) There is no obvious fault, no play and the tyres are not showing signs of misalignment.
Perhaps a bit numb!
