Hi everyone!
Have had a main air bag light flashing for a few days so i thought i would have a look for any posts about it on here.
Found some previous posts of course!!
As you can probably guess the problem was the usual culprit (plugs under drivers seat), after a quick unplug/replug the problem has gone!! Just wanted to say i probably wouldn,t have had a clue where to look if it hadn,t have been for information found on here so many thanks guys!! and keep up the good work!!
Regards.
Steve.

Re: air bag light woes (or not!!)
Seems i was a bit premature because as soon as i moved the car the bloody air bag light came back on and no amount of disconnecting/reconnecting/wiggling of plugs will put light out again!! I,m now wondering if rotary connector on steering wheel might be the problem? although i cant see why if disconnecting/reconnecting underseat plugs in the first instance cured the fault, unless of course i have two faults at once (unlikely?). does anybody know which colour plug is part of the airbag circuit? 1 white, 1 green, 1 black, all with 2 wires. there is also one bigger plug but as it has nothing connected to it i assume it is for leccy seats (if fitted?). will try by-passing plug(s) once i know which one(s) to go for.
Thoughts anyone?

Your best bet is to connect it up to a Lexia as that will tell you exactly where the issue lies.

Thanks Xac! might not be a bad idea! anyone near to Kings Lynn with a lexia who would be prepared to run some diagnostics for me in exchange for some beer tokens?
Last time i looked on lexia locations list someone in Norwich was the closest to me!

Re: air bag light woes (or not!!)
I had exactly the same problem a few weeks ago & went through the same procedure to no avail - the airbag light came back on. It turned out to be corroded contacts on the passenger on/off key switch between the front seats. It simply prises out from inside and can then be cleaned & re-inserted. Worth a shot .......
