No Radio!

Hi all, our radio had decided to stop working. Last week whilst sorting out the car before going on holiday I had the radio going with the ignition off but it shut down every 10 mins or so. After fiddling with the ignition it just finally refused to start up again. I have disconnected the battery for about 15mins and powered back up but to no avail. Would I be correct in assuming it has to be learnt to the ecu or is their a certain way to reset it? Any help as usual much appreciated. Alec.

With the engine stopped, ECO mode switches the radio off after a while; mine does after half an hour.
The radio stays off after battery reconnection.
It needs switching back on with the volume control’s push switch.

Hi Clogzz this doesn't work it is totally dead. The only thing that works is that it takes and ejects cd's!
